Should we try to decrease the gray wolf population?
Should we try to decrease the Gray Wolf Populations? The Gray Wolf is overpopulated and can drop the elk, moose, caribou, population, kill cattle and attack humans. If we decrease it, more hunts will have to happen on them and their food source will overpopulate. What would you do in this case.
What is causing the gRay wolf to be a overpopulated species? (Ethan kaltz)
The Gray Wolf is an overpopulated species because they are only being hunted once a year in every state. So that gives them more time to reproduce. Which makes more pups to grow older in to grown wolves. They do the hunt but they only kill so many and they reproduce and had more pups regaining their population. But they go back and forth on the endangered list. For one month they're overpopulated the next they're endangered.
What benefits or concerns are theRe in decreasing the gray wolf population?( michael carY)
What benefits or concerns are there in decreasing the gray wolf population? One benefit would be that cattle wouldn't be killed so much. If we raise the population, it would cause the elk, caribou,(etc), to become endangered because that is the main food source of the gray wolf. We would also have to build habitats to keep them just right. The gray wolf could harm the environment by killing many small game and large game animals. This will cause at least 1 or more gray wolf hunt(s)
We think that...
We think that we should hunt just a little more so they don't get too underpopulated but stay in the right area. If they reproduce they can kill more in the hunt. That is why we shouldn't decrease but keep it just right. WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
